I did some wandering along old Route 66 in Tulsa this morning. I posted most of the photos in my Picasa web album.

The owner was a bit strange, George. He said he and the car came from California, and then launched into a long story about how the car's image is under contract to some movie company. He definitely did not want his own photo taken. My BS detector was sounding loudly.

But I never asked him about the car's price. He claimed he's had it for more than 30 years. Up close it shows a lot of wear and tear.

That "BIKES SALE" is something.

I wonder if the Rolls Royce was stolen.

The 'Bikes Sale' place is just East of Tally's Diner, and in fairness, they do indeed sell bikes out of that garage on Saturdays. Most are kids bikes or older big box store clunkers, but if you needed cheap, almost throw-away transportation, they'd work for a time.
